January 2026 Newsletter

It’s one month into 2026 and we’re already firing on all cylinders! After a lovely and restful festive period, the Wealth Matters team are refreshed and already on the ball with end of tax year matters.

The tax year ends on 5 April, which will come around sooner than you think. Bruce Nash has shared a very helpful reminder of some of the allowances you may wish to take advantage of before April, many of which operate on a “use it or lose it” basis. You can read this article later on in this newsletter.

Also in this newsletter, we’ve got an excellent film recommendation to share with you from team member Chris Beckett. Several others members of the team have watched it too and the office is abuzz with discussions about how interesting and engaging it is. You won’t want to miss it! 

Following this, we’ll share the link to our recent webinar and a brief summary of what our presenters discussed during the session.

We’ve recently celebrated several staff anniversaries, with a combined total of 39 years of service at Wealth Matters between them! Read on to find out what each of the team members has to say about their time with us. 

Finally, we have an update for you on Toby’s recovery after his surgery. The headline is that he’s doing very well.
