That’s why we make sure our fees are laid out up front, so you know what you’re dealing with from day one. As we work together, we continue to make sure you’re clear about what you’re getting for your money – and that it’s good value.

Focus on fees

So you know what to expect, here’s a quick outline of how we work and at what point you have to start paying for our help and advice.

  • ✔ Initial conversation

    When you get in touch, we’ll have an initial chat with you, totally cost free and obligation free.

  • ✔ Creating your financial plan

    If we decide to work together, we’ll use all the information we’ve already learned to write your financial plan. This will take six to eight weeks and will be charged on a pre-quoted, fixed fee basis. For most clients, it’s around £2,500 – £4,000.

  • ✔ Getting to know your situation

    We’ll send out a fact-finding sheet and a few other forms to fill in so that we can better understand your situation. There is still no obligation to pay or do anything at this stage.

  • ✔ Implementing the plan

    Once your plan is written and agreed, we can get on with implementing it. For this, we will charge a fee of between 0% and 2% depending on the size of your portfolio.

  • ✔ Two discovery meetings

    When you’ve returned the forms, we’ll meet twice again for around 90 minutes to learn more about your future aspirations. Again, this is free and without obligation. This is where we’ll decide if our relationship feels like a good fit and if we’d like to work together in the future.

  • ✔ Ongoing support

    We will also charge you an annual service fee between 0.5% and 1.1%. This covers your annual review meeting, valuations, updating your cashflow, rebalancing, and switching between of funds. You can read more about this here.

We pledge to always reduce fees if it makes economic sense to do it, and to continually review our fees and those of the people we work with to ensure they remain fair and competitive.
