I joined Wealth Matters in 2018 after spending 8 years in retail banking. At the time, I knew very little about Financial Planning, but I was eager to learn and quickly realised I had found a career that genuinely suited me. In 2021 I achieved the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and Certified Financial Planner level, and I still enjoy learning something new every day. The Certified Financial Planner designation is internationally recognised as the highest standard in personal financial planning, demonstrating technical expertise, professionalism and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial advice.

For the last few years, I have been working behind the scenes as a Certified Paraplanner, helping our Financial Planners build financial plans and supporting clients in achieving their goals. I am very excited to transition into the role of Financial Planner, which is something I've been working towards for a long time.

The part of my new role I enjoy most is getting to know people and helping them feel confident about their future. Financial planning isn't just about investments and tax planning, it's about understanding what really matters to someone, whether that's retiring early, helping their children, travelling the world or simply having peace of mind. I love taking something that can seem complicated and making it easy to understand, so clients feel comfortable and confident in the decisions they're making.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me spending time with my daughter and our pets. I also love painting, and I'm very proud that many of my paintings now have a home with family and friends. Creativity has always been a big part of who I am, and I like to think it helps me bring a thoughtful and personal approach to my work as well.
